In my presentation I will recall the need for parametric model reduction in designing active systems and illustrate our new approach for the LMS concrete car benchmark. The focus will be on numerical and theoretical improvements concerning parallel computing, weighting of i/o-channels due to their parameter dependence, stability preservation, etc... Moreover, I will present a new benchmark_the LMS acoustic aquarium_for which FE-model and measurements are available now.
